Obituary of Irene-Margaret Knight

WILSON, Irene Margaret (nee Knight) - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Irene Wilson (age 85) at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Feb 15th, 2009. Predeceased by her husband Charles (2005). Dear mother of Geraldine Wilson Black and Stephen C. Wilson. Will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Bonnie and grandson Charles. She also leaves behind family in Canada, Great Britain & Australia. An eighteen-year resident of Niagara Falls, Irene spent much of her working life in Peterborough as Personnel Manager of Peterborough Civic Hospital. Since coming to Niagara Falls, she was actively involved in the G.N.G.H. Hospital Auxiliary. Following cremation, a private family internment took place on February 20th, at St.. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Niagara-on-the-Lake. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Greater Niagara General Hospital Auxiliary.
