Obituary of Irene-Garvin Moore


-> Irene Garvin Moore, died, Monday June 9, 2003 at home under Hospice Care. She was born in Hampton, SC. She attended the public school of Screven County and also was a graduate from Beach Technical School where she received a degree in sewing. She worked as a Teachers Aid in the Screven County School System, and was a member of Tremont Temple Baptist Church. She retired from Best Cleaners in Savannah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Moore. Survivors: two daughters, Deborah M. Brown (Burry) and Walden Nesmith Worley of Pemberton, NJ; two sisters, Dora White of Bistol, FL, and Lillie Mae Allen; god-daughter, Barbara Small (Robert); granddaughter, great-granddaughter, and many other relatives and friends.
