Howard William Whitford March 23, 1904 - August 09, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) WHITFORD, Howard William - 100 years old and the last surviving member of his family. He was born in Lower Sackville and was a resident there for most of his life. He was the son of the late William and Agnes (MacDonald) Whitford. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. He is survived by daughters, Phyllis (John Dill), Margaret (Harold Morash), Linda (Jimmy Foster), Barbara (Allen Hone), all of Sackville; Joan Woodland, Ellershouse; Elva Sheppard, Stewiacke; sons, Howie (Thelma), Sackville; Douglas, Marshall (Joan), Jimmy (Violet), all of Malagash; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Leola (Siteman) Whitford; an infant daughter and daughter, Anita (Stewart Kaulback). Visitation to be held in Atlantic Funeral Home, Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville today from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in St. Johns Evangelist Anglican Church, Old Sackville Road on Thursday, August 12, at 1 p.m. There will be a reception to follow in the church hall.
