Obituary of Helen Stanton

Helen T. (nee Lucas) Stanton, 103, died Jan. 3, 2015, at the Gates Manor Nursing Home in Montclair. Born in Eynon, Pa., Mrs. Stanton lived in Fitchburg, Mass., and Lyndhurst before moving to North Arlington in 2001. Mrs. Stanton worked as a reeler tender for the Fitchburg Yarn Company in Fitchburg, Mass., for 50 years before retiring in 1975. Mrs. Stanton was the beloved wife of the late Edward A. Stanton and is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. The funeral was from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, on Monday, Jan. 5, with a funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church, Lyndhurst. The entombment followed in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
