Obituary of Helen-E. -Bette-Decker Owen

HELEN E. BETTE DECKER OWENformerly of BinghamtonHelen E. Bette Decker Owen, 81, formerly of Binghamton, died Tuesday, at University Hospital in Syracuse. She was a member of the Binghamton Organ Club. Her husband, Spencer Owen, died in 1978. She is survived by two daughters, Euline K. Mason, Minoa, and Sharon B. Cox, Lincolnton, N.C.; three sisters, Kathryn Woods, Bowie, Md., Frances Fisher and Arlene McComb, both of Binghamton; eight grandsons; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Russell H. Schepp & Son Funeral Home, 109 East Ave., Minoa, N.Y. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Brewerton United Methodist Church Building Fund, 5395 Orangeport Rd., Brewerton, N.Y. 13029.
