Obituary of Gloria Kennedy

Gloria "Jeanne" Kennedy, 68, of Harriman, passed away Aug. 26, 2014, at Harriman Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Eufola Wheat. She loved working with children and teaching Awanas at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, where she was a member of the church.Survivors include husband, Mack Kennedy, Harriman; sons, Doug Kennedy and wife Angie, and Robert Kennedy; brother, Bill Wheat; grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Ronnie, Cheyanne Kennedy and Ashlee Sadler; and great-grandchildren, Zevan, Christopher and Cotton Kennedy.Services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at Kyker Funeral Home, Harriman, with the Rev. Sammy Loy and the Rev. Nate Baker officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Clax Gap Cemetery.
