Obituary of Georges-Antoine Renaud

RENAUD, Georges-Antoine 1917 - 2011 Peacefully, on April 1, at ninety-three years of age. Husband of the late Cecile Gelinas, beloved father of Jean-Pierre (deceased), Suzanne (Damir), Denise (William) and Jean-Luc (Line), and loving grandfather to Mathieu, David, Valerie, Catherine, Nicolas, Veronique and Jean-Francois, cherished brother of Marie-Jeanne. He will fondly be remembered for his kindness, generosity and courage. Visitations will take place on Wednesday, April 6 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire. A short funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Proud veteran of WWII, he will be laid to rest at the Field of Honour in Pointe-Claire. The family wishes to express its warmest thanks to the staff who cared for him on the 7th floor at Ste-Anne's Hospital for their respect, competence and kind attention.
