George R. Moranlongtime resident of Pelham, NH; formerly of Lowell; 64 PELHAM, NH -- George R. Moran, 64, a longtime resident of Pelham, NH and former Lowell resident died Tuesday, July 10th at Radius Northwood Healthcare Center in Lowell following a period of declining health.He was born in Lowell on November 6, 1947, the son of the late Clarence and Jennie (Armitage) Moran. He received his education in Lowell schools.Prior to his retirement, George was employed for over 30 years as a plastics technician by Raytheon Company in their Lowell, Shawsheen, and Andover plants.In his free time he enjoyed spending time at his camp at Sawyer Lake in Gilmanton, NH.George is survived by many dear friends, including his caretaker, Carol Knutson, her husband Bob, and their children Eric and Kyle, all of Lowell.MORAN -- Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD, on Thursday from 3 until 5 PM.
