Obituary of George Welsh

WELSH, George, After a long struggle with disabilities, George found peace at last. In his 86 years, he was always deeply interested in his family, friends and the agricultural community. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife Jean (Daboll), his son John of Smithville, his son Brian and his wife Leigh of Edmonton, his daughter Kathy Glavac of Ridgeville, and his beloved grandchildren Alicia Glavac, Andrea Glavac, Erin Welsh and Daley Welsh. He was predeceased by his son Barry. Also to mourn his loss are his sisters Helen Hatton (Doug) and Margaret Robertson. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, North Pelham, on Monday, February 28th. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. followed by the Service at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, North Pelham Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer Society.
