Obituary of Frank Allen

ALLEN, Frank - Peacefully in his sleep at Redstacks Retirement Residence on May 3, 2003 in his 83rd year. Loving father of Arlene Dawn (Herb) Vincent of Fort Erie. Also survived by his brother Leonard (Vera) of Etobicoke and 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Irene Winnifred Joyce and son Frank Richard and his parents John William and Ada Allen. The late Mr. Allen served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in the Second World War as a Flight Radar Officer. he was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #71, Fort Erie. Also, he was a formal Canadian Customs Officer at the Peace Bridge for 33 years. The family will receive friends at the Fort Erie Chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes, 21 Wintemute St. Monday May 5 from 7-9 p.m. A graveside Service will be held at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday May 6 at 11:00 a.m.
