Obituary of Francis-E. Mackey

Francis E. (Mack) Mackeyformerly of Bookeelia, Fla.Francis E. (Mack) Mackey, 82, formerly of Bookeelia, Fla., passed away Monday, December 30, 2002 at River Mede Manor. He was predeceased by his wives, Deloris R. Mackey and Viola Holcomb Mackey; and a son, Donald A. Mackey. He is survived by two daughters, Linda A. Moors, Binghamton and Diane L. Gifford, Occoee, Fla.; two sons, George E. Mackey, Choconut, Pa. and David A. Mackey, Greene; four grandchildren, Samuel and Scott Moors, Dennis and Dale Gifford. He was a retired employee of General Electric Corp and a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Pine Island, Fla. Moose Lodge and the Pine Island American Legion.Funeral and committal service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson with the Rev. David Rockwell officiating. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, Friday, from 10 to 11 a.m.
