Obituary of Frances Kowalski


WINDSOR LOCKS - Frances (Lamberson) Kowalski peacefully passed away in Windsor Locks, on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Bickford Health Care Center.Mrs. Kowalski was born Dec. 5, 1922, in Kenefic, Okla. Frances was a life partner to her predeceased husband Zigmund "Ziggy" for 62 years and the best mom ever to her three children, Wanda, Mark and Paul. She spent most of her adult life taking care of her family briefly entering the workforce after her children were grown. During her lifetime Mrs. Kowalski lived in five different states where she touched many people with her kindness and generosity. Frances will be missed by many people. She was extremely proud of her two successful adult grandchildren James and John DeRonck. After her husband's retirement Frances and Ziggy spent their retirement years in Florida until 2006 before moving back to Connecticut.Mrs. Kowalski is survived by her two children, Wanda DeRonck and her husband, James, of Connectiuct and Mark and his wife, Barbara, of Florida; her two grandsons, James DeRonck in Texas and John DeRonck in Masschusetts. Frances is also survived by a brother, Peter and a sister, Patsy, both of Texas.Funeral services and burial for Frances will be held privately. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Windsor Locks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Frances may be made to Bickford Health Care Center, 14 Main St., Windsor Locks, CT 06096.
