FREEMAN-Elizabeth Jordan, wife of the late Otis S. Freeman Jr., died Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at her home in Charleston, S.C. She was 84. Formerly of Anderson, S.C., and Huntington, N.Y., she was born in Dothan, AL., on July 25, 1921, the daughter of Robert E. L. Jordan and Emma Maude Barfield Jordan. She attended Troy State Teacher's College in Alabama, where she was an outstanding tennis player, and Columbia College in New York City, receiving teaching degrees from both institutions. She taught kindergarten in Huntington for nearly 20 years. She and her husband, a television executive in New York City, retired to Anderson in 1989, and upon his death in 1992, she moved to Charleston. She is survived by one daughter, Ginny F. Allen of Litchfield Beach, S.C.; two sons, Otis S. Freeman III, of Northampton, MA., and John S. Freeman of Wyndmoor, Pa.; and three grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held in Anderson, S.C., at the Young Memorial Presbyterian Church, 508 Blvd., Anderson, S.C. on December 3, 2005 at 11:00 o'clock. Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Dr., Suite 110, Columbia, S.C.
