Obituary of Eva-Wallace Barnes

Eva Wallace Barnes, 55, of Sylvania passed July 3, 2007 at her residence. Born in Jacksonville, Fla., she spent most of her life as a resident of Statesboro before moving to Sylvania. She was a homemaker and loved shopping. She also loved her little dogs, cross-stitching and trips to the beach. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Alexander Wallace Sr., and mother and step father, Dorothy Walker Wallace and Charles Robert Pound Sr. Survivors include husband of 32 years, Donald Barnes; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred Alexander and Martha Wallace Jr. of Atlanta and John Seward and Mary Bon Wallace Sr. of Statesboro; sister and brother-in-law, Susan Wallace and Carl Hopkins of Santa Barbara, Calif.; five nieces and two nephews; and close friends, Patricia Mickell, Leta Kearse and Joey and Hazel May. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date.
