Obituary of Esther-Ellen Amos

Amos, Esther Ellen, 92, of Shallotte, NC, died Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Mrs. Amos was born on November 8, 1913 in Culmerville, PA, a daughter of the late Jesse and Candace Shaw Hunter. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul A. Amos in 2000. She was a school teacher having taught in Anne Arundel Co., MD, for twelve years. She was a member of the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and a Chaplin to Knox Auxiliary She also taught Sunday School and the Bethel Bible Study Group. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Nagely, of Shallotte, NC, and Judith L. Aronson, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and one brother, Ambrose Hunter, Conneaut, OH. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 15th in the Sunset Beach Community Church, by the Rev. Richard Farrand. Inurnment will be announced at a later date in the Lauderdale Memorial Park, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Brunswick Funeral Service & Crematory, Shallotte, NC.
