Obituary of Elsie Howard

HOWARD, Elsie, 84, of Tampa, died March 5, 2006, at Bayshore Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Tampa, she was born July 10, 1921, to Burrell Dorsen Gainey Sr. and Mary Garnett (Sanger) Gainey. Elsie graduated from H.B. Plant High School in 1939 and was united in marriage to Donald Freeman Ashbaugh July 13, 1940. She is survived by her three loving children, Donald L., Lee F. and Judith A. Ashbaugh; one brother, Burrell D. Gainey, and wife, Dorothy; two sisters, Mary Sidwell and Barbara Warmack; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
