Obituary of Ellen Cooney

COONEY, Ellen ("Nellie") nee Lonergan. Dearly beloved wife of the late William J. Cooney. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary (Molly) Lonergan, as well as by her brothers, sisters and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Devoted and greatly loved mother of Sheila (Jim), Eileen (late Larry Carr), Bill (Lorraine) and Michael (Alice-Ann Payne). Will also be deeply missed by her loving grandchildren, Sheila (Ron), Jim (Jocelyn), Sean (Janet), Liam, Mary (Eric); Larry (Tiffany), Dan (Sheila), Ken (Dom), Dawn (Will Wilson), Tammy, Amanda; Christine (Mike Delorme), Michael, Maryann; and great-grandchildren Chelsea, Mallorie, Siobhan, Ronnie, Larissa; Meaghan, Kylie, Marc-Andre, Zacchary, Lea-Rose; and Keelan. Ellen passed away peacefully on July 2, 2003 at the Centre d'Hebergement Champlain Chateauguay. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Visitation will take place at Feron's Funeral Homes Inc., 1010 Shevchenko Blvd. (corner of de la Verendrye), LaSalle, on Saturday, July 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2003 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 295 McLeod St., Chateauguay, QC.
