Obituary of Elizabeth Stark

STARK _ Elizabeth (Betty) Edna (nee Fachet) June 20, 1936 - April 17, 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Stark announce the passing of this wonderful woman. Betty passed away peacefully in Victoria, B.C., surrounded by her family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her husband of forty-seven years, Tom; her sister Helen MacDonald and brother-in-law Don MacDonald; her daughter Leslee Ferguson and son-in-law Keith Ferguson; her twin sons, Greg and Grant, along with their wives, Wendy and Janet; and her two grandchildren, Heidi and Graham. She is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Josephine Fachet, and her younger sister Kathy Lien. Betty was a caring person whose talents and passions included her garden along with all of the animals that would come to visit, both feathered and furry. She sewed cushions for the First Open Heart Society and loved to entertain friends and family as well as travel. Her greatest love and devotion was for her family. In honoring Betty's wishes, there will be no Funeral Service, but a celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations, if desired, would be appreciated in Betty's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
