Obituary of Elizabeth-M. Gates

Elizabeth "Betty" M. Gatesof HillcrestElizabeth "Betty" M. Gates, 86, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 11, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband, Winton "Whitey" Gates; son, James B. Gates; sisters, Vivian Lane and Katherine Boskyke. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and Douglas Jones, S.C., and Marsha Maume, Binghamton; brother, Frank Kiely, N.J.; sister, Frances Rogers, N.J.; daughter-in-law, Patricia Gates, Binghamton; several grandchildren, Patrick and Elizabeth Jones, Colleen Jones, Timothy Jones, Jeffery Maume, Michael Maume, Jolene and Vincent Fraumeni, Marlene Gates, Darlene and Charles Dayton and Justine Gates; and five great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.A Funeral Mass will be offered Thursday, 11:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Church. Burial will be in the Chenango Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, N.Y. Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
