Obituary of Elizabeth-Louise-Taylor Hudson

<!-- FH = Peavy Funeral Home -->Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Taylor Hudson, age 79, of Clarksville, FL was reunited with her Lord and her late husband, Reverend Robert Vernon Hudson on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011. She was a retired LPN and an active volunteer with Prison Ministries, the Senior Citizens program and the missions program at Victory Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church in Altha, FL. She had a passion for international missions and making sure that people knew the Lord as their personal Savior.Her family, church and dear friends were a special part of her Life. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death her father, Girard Erd Taylor, mother, Jessie Whigham Taylor, and brother, William "Billy" Taylor. Survivors include her Children: Janet Merritt and her husband, Earl of Pavo, GA; Peggy Whittaker and husband, Larry of Clarksville, FL; Diane Varnum and Danny Stone of Tifton, GA; Joy Washburn and her husband, Ed of Leesburg, GA; Bobby Hudson and his wife, Theresa of Altha, FL. She is also survived by her brother, Alton Taylor and his wife, Patricia of Brooksville, FL; Imogene (Jean) Johnson and her husband, Willie of Albany, GA; and Mary Batson of Wewahitchka, FL. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, and numerous friends.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 1:00 pm (CST) at Victory Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church in Altha, FL. Interment will follow in the Victory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, January 10, 2011 from 6:00 pm (CST) until 8:00 pm (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home.
