Elizabeth L. Preston BARRINGTON - Elizabeth "Betty" L. Preston, 79, formerly of Pond Hill Rd died Sunday December 21, 2014, at the Rochester Manor. Born August 10, 1935, in Sanford, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Minnie (Ham) Ledeux. Betty has lived in Barrington 1968 after moving from Rochester where she lived for a few years. She worked for several areas business including Davidson Rubber, Frisbie Hospital and later retired from the St. Charles Children Home in Rochester. Betty had several interest including; playing BINGO, doing word searches, dancing, basically everything Elvis and watching movies on the life time channel. Her biggest joy was spending special moment with her twin sister and especially her nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at the Rochester manor for all the love and care throughout her stay. Members of her family include her brothers; Perley Ledoux and his wife Denise of Farmington and Morris Ledoux of Sanford, Maine, a twin sister, Mabel Durand of Norfolk, Va., many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband David Preston in 2006, brother; Lawrence Ledoux and Lewis Ledoux, and a sister, Beatrice Lacount. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Cornerstone VNA and Hospice There are no service planned at this time Cremation is under the care of the R.M.
