Obituary of Elizabeth-Jean Tyson

October 17, 1957 - March 15, 2013It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Jean Tyson, on March 15, 2013. Betty was born in Ladner, BC, on October. 17, 1957. Predeceased by her loving parents, Donna Ellen, and Claude Allanhurst, she is survived by her son, Jordan (Hayley), her brothers, Bob, and Chris (Paige), and nephew, Curtis, all of Ladner, BC. Betty had a passion for music, cooking, and crafts. She was a consummate interior designer; painting ceiling murals, renovating her home, and making stained-glass items are just a few examples of her interests and skills. Her home and garden were her passion, and both reflected her colorful and lively personality. She was a great mentor and friend to those at the 24 Recovery Centre in Surrey, BC. Her strength and confidence will live on in their memory. Memorial services will be conducted on April 20, 2013 at 1:00pm at the Delta Funeral Home.
