Obituary of Elizabeth-B. Owen

Elizabeth B. Owen, 91, of Jupiter died Monday, Sept. 8. She lived in Florida since 1976, moving from Newton, N.J. She was director of the Pennies from Heaven Thrift Shop at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Tequesta for more than 20 years. Prior to coming to Florida, she was a member of the Board of Education in Newton and president of the Garden Club, the Nature Study Club and the Newtown Women's Club. Survivors include four children, Barbara O. Mooney and husband David, Cynthia W. Owen, Stephen Leigh Owen and wife Rhonda and Beverly Marcheso and husband John; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leigh P. Owen, in 1981. A celebration of life was Friday, Sept. 12 at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
