Obituary of Elisabeth-Karoline Dimock

->Dimock, Elisabeth K.Endwell: Elisabeth Karoline Dimock, 88, of Endwell, NY, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012, in Raleigh, NC. Elsbeth was born in Frankenberg, Germany, to the late Wilhelm Brand and Elise Finger Brand. She survived the war, met and married her true love Bill, and moved to Endwell to begin her own family. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother, and will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Wilhelm (Brunhilde), Karl (Elisabeth), and Walter (Bertha); and a sister Elfriede. Elsbeth is survived by Bill, her beloved husband of 64 years; daughters Karin Pechanek (Jerry) of Cary, NC, and Linda Tafel (David) of Newtown, PA; 4 grandchildren, Julie & Kaity Pechanek; Melissa & Derek Tafel; sister-in-law Betty McArthur of Framingham, MA; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 12 p.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Lisa Heckman, Pastor of Northminster Presbyterian, Endwell officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at 12 p.m.
