He was born on August 24, 1944 in Hazard, KY to the late Chester Mullins and Cynthia Noble Mullins. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 12:30 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.Edward was a U.S. Army Veteran and carpenter.He is survived by his wife, Inez Crabtree Mullins of Herndon, KY; son, Jimmy (Melissa) Mullins of Ohio; step-son, Danny Crabtree of Herndon, KY; daughter, Brenda Mullins of Ohio; three step-daughters, Shirley (Gary) Sykes of Adams, TN, Donna Papler and Sherry (Dean) Plunkett of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, Herman Marshall of Kentucky and Shade Mullins of Ohio; sister, Wanda Innis of Ohio; fifteen grandchildren and step-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Jimmy Mullins, Justin Mullins, Dalton Davis, Danny Crabtree, Dean Plunkett, Gary Sykes, Marc Price and Eddie Cassel.Arrangements entrusted to Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, 1510 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040; (931) 645-6488.
