Obituary of Edna-Ann Matthews

Peacefully at Island Lodge on Monday, July 16, 2001 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late William O. Matthews. Loving mother of Joan Machincky (Harry), the Reverend William O. Matthews (Pamela), James Matthews (Marie) and the late Ronald Matthews. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ruth Ralph. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St., on Wednesday, July 18th from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, July 19th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Hawthorne United Church, 2244 Russell Rd., on Friday, July 20, 2001 at 2 p.m. A very special thank you to the staff at Allen House, Island Lodge, for their wonderful care and to Rejeanne and Denis Desmarais for their devotion to Edna.
