Obituary of Dorothy-M. Wright

WRIGHT, DOROTHY M., 79, of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father on July 30, 2011. She was retired from food services and a member of Okolona Presbyterian Church. Among those that precede her in death include her parents, George and Nannie Quire; husband, Raymond Wright; daughter, Judy Wright; brother, George Quire; and sisters, Margie Hilger, Pearl Barnes, and Katherine Bogard. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Shirley Becker (Eddie), Penny Weatherford (Carl); son, William Wright; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Frances Curtsinger, Betty Cook, and Mae Carey. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Road), with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1-8 p.m. at Schoppenhorst.
