Obituary of Dorothy-H. Macdonald

(Retired longtime employee of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company) Peacefully in her 93rd year on Saturday November 17, 2001. Dearly loved sister of Louisa Holtz, Douglas (Doreen), the late Albert (Joan) and the late Kenneth. Proud aunt of Sheila White (George), Lynndal Conway (Brian), Bryce Holtz, Bruce Macdonald, Allen Holtz (Judith), James Holtz (Marianne), Dorothy Armitage and Ian Macdonald. Cherished great-aunt of many grandnieces and nephews. Dorothy was a proud lifetime member of the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club. Also she was a devoted 26 year volunteer at the Riverside Hospital until the day before her death. At her request their will be no visitation at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 1940 Saunderson Drive, Ottawa. Private cremation to follow.
