Obituary of Dennis Galvin

GALVIN, Dennis BrianSeptember 12, 1939 - May 21, 2017Dennis passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at the Chinook Care Centre at the age of 77 years. He will be missed by his son Jason, cousin Brian, as well as many extended family members and friends. Dennis was born in Calgary and was an employee of the City of Calgary Outside Workers for 50 plus years. The Union dedicated "GALVIN HALL" in their building in 2012 to honour Dennis as CUPE 37''s Longest Standing Member. A Celebration of Dennis'' Life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home (1605-100 Street SE, Calgary) on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Southern Alberta (102, 5636 Burbank Crescent SE, Calgary, AB T2H 1Z6).
