He was born in Cowansville, Quebec, May 27, 1958, to Florian and Louise (Laliberte) Benjamin. He was a resident of Meredith for the last five years, previously residing in Manchester. He was self-employed as a contractor. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan, enjoying fishing, playing pool, horseshoes, camping, and hockey. He was a member of the Meredith American Legion Post 33. IN HIS LIFE: Besides his parents, he is survived by two sons, Patrick Benjamin and his girlfriend, Laura Langlois, of Pembroke, and Nicholas Benjamin of Pembroke; his girlfriend, Patricia Coveney of Meredith; a brother; Claude Benjamin and his wife, Christine, of Moultonborough; a sister, Joane Dion and her husband, Marc, of Derry; Patrick and Nicholas' mother, Leza Childs of Pembroke; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. at McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., Manchester.
