Obituary of Clifford-William Salmond

SALMOND, Clifford William December 27, 1927 - December 25, 2013 Cliff Salmond was welcomed into the arms of His Lord on Christmas Day, after a long, brave battle with Parkinson's disease. He will be remembered for his warmth and humour, his service in the church, and his many accomplishments in the field of competitive sports (running). Cliff was inducted into the Victoria Sports Hall of Fame in 2006. Cliff is survived by his loving wife Carol, children Roy (Gayle), Neil (Michelle), Faye, Ferne (Greg), his adoring grandchildren and their spouses, his sister Mary, and numerous nieces and nephews, and relatives. A celebration of Cliff's life will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., at Central Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Gideons, or the Parkinson's Society.
