Obituary of Claude-Edison Barnes

Services for Mr. Claude Edison Barnes 73 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 1 2003 at Forest Heights United Methodist Church with Dr. Susan Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Barnes died on Sunday March 30 2003 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A native of Hardin County he was born on October 30 1929 the son of the late Claude Lee and Bessie Bingham Barnes. He attended Forest Heights United Methodist Church. Mr. Barnes devoted his life to his family that he loved and to his work that he enjoyed greatly. H e is survived by his wife of forty-four years Helen M. Barnes of Jackson; a daughter Judy Carol Farley and her husband Randy of Nashville TN; a son Ronald M. Barnes and his wife Tamara of Trenton TN; seven grandchildren Marsha Farley Jacob Farley Luke Farley Micajah Barnes Greer Barnes Elijah Barnes and Belle Barnes. He was preceded in death by a sister Noverta Beckham and a brother Charles Curtis Barnes. Pallbearers to serve will be Derek Holyfield Scott Murphy Calvin Murphy Jr. Darin Beckham Kyle Holyfield and Micajah Barnes.
