Obituary of Charles Garrett

Charles William Garrett, formerly of Greenville, born July 30, 1932, passed away on May 30, 2010 in Hendersonville, NC. He served in the US Navy and was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his daughter, Dixie Orr of Clemson, SC; sisters, Carolyn Dobson of Greenville, Helen Fleming of Greenville, Rosa Kay Aiken and her husband Wheeler of Greenville; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Lillian E. Massey Garrett and Toy G. Garrett; and his grandson, Christopher Orr.A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Thurs., Jun 3 at Cremation Society of South Carolina, 328 Dupont Dr., Greenville. Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of one's choice.
