Obituary of Charles Francis

MCGOVERN - Charles Francis,86, of St. Augustine, FL, formerly of Bethpage, N.Y., passed away January 10, 2014 at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Margaret "Peggy" McGovern, children, John C. (Margaret), Kevin J. (Ellen), Margaret Herrick (Thomas), Philip T. (Debbie), Glenn P. (Hope), 17 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas (Renee). A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 220 Central Ave., Bethpage, N.Y.
