SANBORNTON -- Charles E. Jodoin, 84, formerly of Philbrick Road and Chapman Road, died at the New Hampshire Veterans Home, Tilton, on Aug. 5, 2010. He was born Oct. 18, 1925, in Manchester, to Isadore and Bertha (St. Cyr) Jodoin. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was a longtime resident of the Tilton/Sanbornton area. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Laconia, and had been employed at J.H. Valliere Co. for 30 years before retiring in 1987. He was an avid cribbage player. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn B. (Pike) Jodoin, of Concord; a daughter, Marion D. Jodoin, of Key West, Fla.; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jodoin was predeceased by a brother, George J.B. Jodoin, and two sisters. SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia 03246.
