Obituary of Charles-Donald Salmons


Salmons, Charles Donald "Sam", age 63, of Crescent City, died Wednesday March 9, 2005 at Putnam Community Medical Center after a long illness. The Highland Park, Michigan native had lived in Crescent City for the past 4 years, coming from Boca Raton. He was a 20 year U.S. Navy veteran and had retired after 20 years as a distribution clerk with the U.S. Postal Service. He also loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa MacMillan of Boca Raton and Melissa Marriott of Cumberland City, Tennessee; 2 nephews, John Salmons of Hollister and Arthur Salmons of Russellville, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren. Memorial services will beheld 3:00 PM. Sunday, March 13th at the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Mr. John Salmons officiating. The United States Navy will conduct full military honors. Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home and Crematory in Palatka is in charge of arrangements.
