Obituary of Charles-David Austin

AUSTIN, CHARLES DAVID, 58, of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010. He was an assembler for Zoeller Pump Company, a member of Lewis-Parkland Masonic Lodge #638 and a member of Shively Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Agnes Austin and his brothers, William C. and John C. Austin. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Austin; children, Tiffaney Spalding (Thomas) and Jacob R. Speed; grandson, Ethan Spalding; brothers, Robert (Joyce) and James (Jenny) Austin; uncle, Charles Hill and also nieces and nephews. His service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Shively Baptist Church, 1599 Sadie Lane, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Thursday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. There will also be a Masonic service Thursday at 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Portland Christian School, St. Jude's or to his church.
