Obituary of Charles Connors


August 29, 2003 Charles "Tommy" Connors, 79, of Syracuse died August 29, 2003. Born in Syracuse, he had lived in Brewerton and Syracuse all of his life. He had operated a Junk Yard in the Town of Onondaga. A WWII Army veteran, he was a member of the American Legion Post #0001, Albany, NY. Surviving are his companion, Grace Zopfi; two sons, Howard McLaughlin of Syracuse and John McLaughlin of Parish; three daughters, Margaret Bisha of Hastings, Kathleen Zuckerman of Florida and Mary Grace Blair of Utica; a brother, John of East Syracuse; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services are at a later date with burial in Onondaga Veterans' Memorial Cemetery. No Calling Hours. Arrangements by Watson Funeral Home, Inc., Central Square.
