->McDowell, Catherine B.Glenora: Catherine B. McDowell, age 87, of Glenora, died Sunday June 19, 2011 at Schuyler Hospital, in Montour Falls, NY. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband of 58 years John A. McDowell Sr. at home; a daughter Carol (Joseph) McDowell Shaheen of New York, NY; a son John A. McDowell Jr. of Seattle, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.Friends may call from 5-7 pm Thursday (June 23) at the BAIRD FUNERAL HOME, 36 Water Street, Dundee. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday (June 24) at the Lakemont Congregational Christian Church, Lakemont, NY with Rev. Lucinda O'Leary officiating. Burial will follow in Lakemont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Schuyler Health Foundation, P.O. Box 828, Montour Falls, NY 14865.
