Obituary of Clayton-P. Landry


CLAYTON P. LANDRY COLCHESTER – Clayton P. Landry, 81, died on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at his home following a brief but courageous battle. He was born in Lyndonville on March 18, 1929, the son of George and Eva (McClure) Landry. He was married to the former Pauline Chamberlain for 56 years and was predeceased by her on Nov. 17, 2005. Clayton was employed for many years as a master plumber with B&B Hot Water Tanks. He was a dedicated husband and father and the time spent with his family and especially his grandchildren was what gave him much joy. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Landry, and his son, Brian Landry, both of Colchester; grandchildren Jason and Nathan Eastman, and Tyler Landry; two great-grandchildren, Bridget and Julia Eastman; two brothers, Norman Landry, and David Landry and his wife Carleen; two sisters, Lorraine Baker and Eva Willette; numerous nieces and nephews, especially 1st Sgt. Dan Landry and his wife Karen; special friend and caregiver, Nicole Wimble; and his large extended family. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline; his son George Landry; and numerous siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010 in Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, Colchester, with burial to follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery.
