Obituary of C. -James Macleod

MacLEOD, C. James Retired Ottawa Firefighter Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, May 14th, 2004, age 73 years. Beloved husband of Diana (nee Bathurst). Much loved father of Bonnie, Laurie (Duncan Crosby), Donald (Sheila), Mark (Jennifer) and predeceased by daughter JoAnne. Will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren Dylan, Meghan, Tessa, Darian, Jimmy, Zachary, Justine, Kevin, Connor and Brooke. Will be sadly missed by his brother Donald A. MacLeod and sister Myrtle Deavy. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. McKendry (rheumatologist) and to all the staff of the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus for their care and compassion. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Aveune at Richmond Road on Monday, May 17th, 2004 from 12:30 p.m. until service time in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at Bonnie's house. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society. The Ottawa Citizen
