Brian T. Daniel, 45, of Sandusky, passed away early Sunday morning, October 6, 2013, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis. Born on May 20, 1968, in Sandusky, the son of William Edward and Phyllis Regina (Will) Daniel. Brian was a 1986 graduate of Washington Township High School, in Sewell, NJ and later graduated in 1992 from Glassboro State College, in Glassboro, NJ with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music Education. He was a music teacher for a few years, in the Woodbury Public Schools (formerly the Woodbury Education Association) of Woodbury, NJ. Brian enjoyed reading, computers and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis R. Daniel of Sandusky; two sisters, Lynda (David) Katz of Huron and Chris (Neil) Hemminger of Sandusky; three brothers, Jim (Lis) Daniel of Camden, Delaware, Steve (Mikki) Daniel of Elizabethton, TN and Greg Daniel of Huron; three nieces, Rhonda Hixon, Michelle Bryan and Holly Hemminger; four nephews, David Katz, Justin Bryan, Paul Hemminger, and Alex Daniel; Aunts, Uncles and other relatives; lifetime partner, Denise S. (Cherry) Daniel of Sandusky; and his loving dog, "Baker". Brian was preceded in death by his father, William E. "Bill" Daniel on February 23, 2004; a nephew, Adam Daniel; maternal grandparents, Karl and Regina (Wahl) Will; and his paternal grandparents, Cyril and Eleanor (Klingbiel) Daniel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm at the DAVID F. KOCH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky. A Prayer Service will be held that evening at 7 pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday morning, October 9, 2013, at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave, Sandusky. Fr. Michael Roemmele will be officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH. The family suggests that Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870; the Multiple Sclerosis Northwestern Ohio Chapter, 401 Tomahawk Drive, Maumee, OH 43537; or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
