Obituary of Bernard-Allen O-Donnell

BERNARD ALLEN O'DONNELL (1930 - 2010) Peacefully at Scarborough Grace Hospital on Friday, May 14, 2010. Bernard Allen born in Charlottetown, P.E.I. Surrounded by his loving family, cherished and beloved husband of Joan (nee McCarthy), who just celebrated their 50th Anniversary on May 7th. Precious father of Judith, Brenda and David and his wife Alexandra. Also survived by his 12 adored grandchildren Kristie, Sean, Matthew, Samantha, Jessica, Amanda, Alaina, Paul, Michael, Logan, James and Brenden. Brother of Ruth (Bert, deceased) Leufkens and his sisters Bernice Callaghan (Fred, deceased), Theresa McCarville (Lorne) and Barbara McIsaac (Francis, deceased). He was predeceased by his parents Alphonsus and Anne O'Donnell and his sister Jean Carmichael (Charles, deceased) and his brother Phil O'Donnell (Patricia). A retired 43 year employee of IBM, faithful member of The Knights of Columbus Toronto Council 1388 and fourth degree member of the Cardinal McGuigan Assembly. Friends and relatives may be received at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles), Toronto, Ontario on Monday, May 17th between 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 18th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 92 Steeles Ave. W. (just west of Yonge, north side), Thornhill, Ontario. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill, Ontario.
