Obituary of Bernadine A. Hamilton

Bernadine A. (Clare) Hamilton, 88 years of age, entered life eternal at Saint Patricks Manor in Framingham, Monday, Jan. 27, 2014. She was born in Milton and she was raised in Quincy. She graduated from Quincy High School, Class of 1943. She was a homemaker devoted to her family especially her children and her grandchildren. Bernadine was the beloved wife of 64 years of Richard S. Hamilton. She was the loving mother of Michael Hamilton married to Linda Hamilton of Wrentham and Patricia (Hamilton) Samela married to Gordon Samela of Framingham. She was the devoted grandmother of Stephen, Christopher and Matthew Hamilton and David and Nicole Samela. She was the sister of Walter Clare of Quincy, Patrick Clare of Braintree and the late Joseph Clare. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Catholic prayer service will be held Thursday, Jan. 30, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Braintree Cemetery.
