AUSTIN Audrey Elizabeth 1924 - 2006 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our wife and mother Audrey Austin on Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Audrey is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years John; children Yvonne (Bill) Tabert, Bill (Anne) and the apple of her eye, grandson Nicholas. She is also survived by her brother Clifford (Betty-Lou) Prevost, sister-in-law Joan (Bill) Fayter of Qualicum Beach, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was born in Calgary. She lived in Eagle Hill, west of Olds until she returned to Calgary in 1944. She was one of the original employees of the Alberta Gas and Oil Conservation Board. She married Jack in 1947 and together they raised their family in Calgary. Audrey enjoyed gardening, all types of craftwork, card games with friends, and summers in Creston, B.C. with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be dearly missed. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Monday, April 3, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. with Interment to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, No. 200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
