Arthur Moranof Pelham, NH, was plumber, Navy vet; 83 PELHAM, NH Arthur Moran, 83, of Pelham, died at the Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare in Nashua, NH, on Sunday, October 18, 2009, following a lengthy illness.He was born in Lowell, Mass., onOctober 4, 1926, a son of the late Arthur S. and Sarah (Parker) Moran.He was the husband of Theresa (Farwell) Moran, whom he married onAugust 29, 1964. They shared 45 years of marriage.Mr. Moran was a plumber for many years with Topjian. Plumbing and Heating. Following his retirement from plumbing, Mr. Moran worked in the civil service at Fort Devens for many years.An avid aviator, he had his pilot's license for over60 years. He also had a love for building something from scratch. "He taught us all a whole lot and will be missed very much."He was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy. He was educated in Lowell.In addition to his wife of 45 years, survivors include his children, Scott and Gina Jackson of San Diego, CA,Ellen Crawford of Wisconsin, and Roy and Pam Descoteaux of Lowell, MA; his five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.MORAN Funeral services and interment prayers will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
