Obituary of Arthur-Lloyd Harper

HARPER, Arthur Lloyd - March 25th, 1940 - October 2nd, 2009 - It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Art at his Thorold residence on October 2nd, 2009. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Kathleen, father Winford (1973), brothers and sisters Julie, Jane, Joe, Jean, John, Joyce, June, Betty, Harold and Robert. Predeceased by Charles, Kathleen, Cleve, Mayola, Grover, Vernon, Dorthea, Helen and Fredrick. Art leaves behind his children Cheryl, Jeffery, Christine, Patricia and their mother Patricia Gelineau Harper, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Art was a member of the Canadian Corps Unit #44, Thorold. His love of cooking was enjoyed by many throughout the years along with his great sense of humour. A gathering with family and friends to celebrate Art's life will be held at the Canadian Corps (Unit #44), 7 Clairmont Street, Thorold on Thursday, October 8th, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
