Obituary of Arthur-F. McArthur

McARTHUR - Arthur F. Peacefully in London ON, on Friday, June 5, 2009 in his 85th year. Cherished husband of Phyllis (nee Gibson). Loving father of Scott, Shaun and his wife Laura, and the late Sharon Fenlon. Devoted Grandpa to Sarah, Lindsay, Tracy, Shelby, Bennett, Dale, Alexander and Elizabeth. Predeceased by his sister Margaret and his step-brother Frank. Fondly remembered by Bob and Sandy Fenlon, Margery and Bob Davis, Patricia Carr, his extended family and friends. Art enjoyed a long 44 year career at the Standard Life Assurance Company in both Toronto and London. He was previously a member of Calvary United Church as well as Kilwinning Lodge and the Halifax Aircraft Association. A funeral service will be conducted at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London ON, on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment, Woodhull Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Art are asked to consider the London Health Science Foundation-Cancer Centre.
