Obituary of Arthur-E. Harrison

Arthur Eugene Harrison, age 75, of Waterloo, Ala., died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007. Visitation will be 6 - 9 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Friday, Nov. 16th, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ at Macedonia. The body will lie in state one hour before service time. Wayne Wood and Wayne Gean will be officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.He was a mechanic with the Lauderdale County Board of Education, a member of Hendrix Chapel Church and the United Kennel Clubs of America.He was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Evie Harrison; father, Johnny Harrison; son, Brian Harrison; and brother, Gerald Harrison.Survivors include his wife, Lorene Harrison; son, Bruce Harrison, of Florence; daughter, Laura Harrison, of Illinois; brothers, Kenneth Harrison, Charles Harrison, Don Harrison; sisters, Dot Crowden, Muscle Shoals, Barabara Murphy, Elaine Wear, Sue Martian and Gertrude Butler, all of Florence; grandchildren, Glen Brian and Toler Harrison.Newphews will serve as pallbearers.Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights, is directing.
