Obituary of Armand Boudreau

BOUDREAU, Armand Joseph June 18, 1925 May 18, 2008 Peacefully, with his daughter by his side, Armand quietly passed away at St Charles Manor in Victoria. Lovingly missed and always remembered by his three children; Ronald (Patsy), Louise (Jim) and Pierre (Carol), his many nieces and nephews, and his granddaughters Natalie, Nadean and Chantelle. Armand was out and about doing activities all day long in the community often starting with breakfast with his buddies. He was an accomplished tradesman and continued to use those skills to help others in his retirement. He made daily trips (sometimes more than once a day) to the Oak Bay recycle yard where he collected discarded items, repaired them, then gave them to the needy or sold them and gave the money to charity. He befriended the workers at the yard and regularly brought them coffee along with his big smile to cheer them up. He went to the Oak Bay pool almost every afternoon to swim with his friends. He spent more time lounging in the wading pool talking to his friends than working out. He had a very strong faith and was active with St. Patrick's Parish and the Knights of Columbus. He really enjoyed Saturday after mass coffee with Father Ho and other fellow parishioners. Armand would make friends with everyone in the community and they loved him back. Armand was a kind, loving man with a great sense of humor and a big smile. He will be remembered by all who knew him and his family will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held at St Patrick's Parish, 2060 Haultain Street, Victoria, on Friday May 23 at 12 noon. A reception will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Patrick's Parish in Armand's name. 469252
